इंदौर: मशहूर शायर राहत इंदौरी (Rahat Indori) का मंगलवार को दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया. वे 70 वर्ष के थे. कोरोना पॉज़िटिव पाए जाने के बाद वे अस्पताल में भर्ती थे. इंदौर के कलेक्टर ने उनके निधन की पुष्टि की है. चाहने वालों के बीच ‘राहत साहब’ के नाम से लोकप्रिय राहत इंदौरी का यूं ‘जाना’ साहित्य जगत खासकर
उर्दू शायरी की दुनिया के लिए बड़ी क्षति है. जिलाधिकारी मनीष सिंह ने बताया, “कोविड-19 से संक्रमित इंदौरी का अरबिंदो इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज (सैम्स) में इलाज के दौरान निधन हो गया. उन्होंने बताया कि इंदौरी हृदय रोग, किडनी रोग और मधुमेह सरीखी पुरानी बीमारियों से पहले से ही पीड़ित थे.
सैम्स के छाती रोग विभाग के प्रमुख डॉ. रवि डोसी ने बताया, “इंदौरी के दोनों फेफड़ों में निमोनिया था और उन्हें गंभीर हालत में अस्पताल लाया गया था.”उन्होंने बताया, “सांस लेने में तकलीफ के चलते उन्हें आईसीयू में रखा गया था और ऑक्सीजन दी जा रही थी लेकिन तमाम कोशिशों के बावजूद हम उनकी जान नहीं बचा सके. राहत इंदौरी
इंदौरी के बेटे और युवा शायर सतलज राहत ने अपने पिता की मौत से पहले मंगलवार सुबह बताया था, “कोविड-19 के प्रकोप के कारण मेरे पिता पिछले साढ़े चार महीनों से घर में ही थे.वह केवल अपनी नियमित स्वास्थ्य जांच के लिये घर से बाहर निकल रहे थे.”उन्होंने बताया कि इंदौरी को पिछले पांच दिन से बेचैनी महसूस हो रही थी और डॉक्टरों की सलाह पर जब उनके फेफड़ों का एक्स-रे कराया गया तो इनमें निमोनिया की पुष्टि हुई थी. बाद में जांच में वह कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमित पाये गये थे।.
गौरतलब है कि शायरी की दुनिया में कदम रखने से पहले, इंदौरी एक चित्रकार और उर्दू के प्रोफेसर थे. उन्होंने हिन्दी फिल्मों के लिये गीत भी लिखे थे और दुनिया भर के मंचों पर काव्य पाठ किया था.

- .उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की थकि स्वास्थ्य के बारे में जानकारी के लिए बार-बार उन्हें या फिर परिवार को फोन न करें, इसकी जानकारी ट्विटर और फेसबुक के माध्यम से सभी को मिलती रहेगी. हालांकि लोगों की तमाम दुआओं के बावजूद राहत साहब का मंगलवार को इंतकाल हो गया. मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने राहत साहब के निधन पर दुख जताते हुए इसे प्रदेश और देश की अपूरणीय क्षति बताया है.मध्यप्रदेश के सीएम ने अपने शोक संदेश में लिखा,
